Wellington Pier Pavillion - Benny Hill
Benny Hill stars in the production of 'Light Up The Town'. Performed at the Wellington Pier Theatre, the show featured the Peter Crawford Trio, singer Frederick Ferrari, Bob & Marion Konyot, Roger Carne with Canasta the cat, and a variety act from Rey & Ronjy. The show also featured singer Barber Leigh, and dancer Harvey Church both from Australia.
Windmill Theatre - Big Star Show - 1962
Bill Fury starred in the 1962 production of the 'Big Star Show' at the Windmill Theatre. Appearing in the show were the Karl Denver Trio, singer Marty Wilde, the Vernon Girls, the husband and wife comedy act of Chich Murray and Maidie, Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers, and comedian Alan Field.
